Karin graduated from wits medical school with a Master degree in exercise physiology, focusing on strength training in anorexic patients. She has been in private practice for over 20 years and during this time she has lectured at tertiary level . She enjoys working within the corporate field and has presented educational  workshops as part of a multidisciplinary team. She loves working with people and thrives on interesting and difficult orthopaedic problems.

Jessie Pillay

Jessie Pillay completed both her BA(Human Movement Science) and BA(Hons): Biokinetics at the University of Pretoria. Over the years, Jessie has gained significant experience in both orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation and enjoys working with both the younger and older population. Jessie has a keen interest in neurological disorders and sees her field as an opportunity to help and support people to embrace a better quality of life.

Karen Young

Karen has been in practice for 11 years after obtaining her undergraduate degree from Wits University and Honours degree from the University of Port Elizabeth. Karen’s involvement in Biokinetics has centred on Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, combined with experience gained in the management of Chronic Conditions and Cardiac Rehabilitation.  She is very passionate about running and triathlon and participates in these events regularly. As such she enjoys working with athletes of all levels to help them improve in areas such as core strengthening/stability and achieve their rehabilitation goals. She is  also a keen consumer of coffee and chocolate.

Megan Bell

Megan Bell graduated in 2007 from UCT with a BSc honours degree in Biokinetics.  Here she was able to work with some of the leading people in the industry and gained great experience working at the Sports Science Institute of South Africa. Megan has been practicing Biokinetics for the last 6 years focusing primarily on Orthopaedic rehabilitation. She has also been involved in Cardiac rehabilitation and general wellness. Because she is a keen golfer and understands the kinematics of golf she has worked  with many golfers to improve their game and reduce any pain that they may get while playing especially lower back pain.
